Lower Grammar

Humanities 

This two-hour block is an integrated humanities course driven by delightful read aloud books focusing on stories from America. Students will dive deep into the literature while exploring history, geography, composition, poetry, art, music, and church history. 

In-Class Curriculum: Literature selections from U.S. modern history (read aloud in class).  

At Home Recommendations: Parents are responsible for choosing a language arts & math curricula for at home instruction; weekly memory work practice. Parents may wish to purchase Biblioplan: Year 3 Early Modern/ Year 4 Modern or Story of the World: Volume 3 and 4 for further Bible and history studies. 

Science Exploration

Students will enjoy hands-on experiments and/or crafts that correspond with weekly science memory work. Topics for 2026/27 academic year include the digestive system, circulatory system, lymph system, chemistry, fossils and more!

Song School Latin 2

In this lively and fun class, students will delight in learning Latin vocabulary through class instruction, practice, and songs!
